Meet & greet in the arrivals hall, a fixed price per vehicle and a direct private ride to your chalet or hotel in Les Arcs. About 2 h 40, 24/7.
Looking for a transfer from Lyon Airport to Les Arcs? Sun Road drives you privately from the arrivals hall at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) to the door of your accommodation in Les Arcs — no shared shuttle, no stops for other passengers and no waiting for a group to fill up. Your driver is waiting for you with a name sign, helps with the luggage and skis, and takes you straight there.
Les Arcs is a group of ski villages — Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 — above Bourg-Saint-Maurice, linked to La Plagne to form the Paradiski area.
The price is fixed per vehicle, not per person, and you see it before you pay. It includes motorway tolls, fuel, luggage and ski equipment, child seats and up to 60 minutes of waiting after your booked pick-up time. Late-night pick-ups carry a small night supplement, which is always included in the price shown before you pay. We cover Les Arcs 1600, Les Arcs 1800, Les Arcs 2000 and Bourg-Saint-Maurice and the surrounding villages, and the return transfer from Les Arcs to Lyon Airport can be booked at the same time.

From Lyon Saint-Exupéry the drive follows the A43 motorway east past Chambéry to Albertville, then the N90 expressway up the Tarentaise valley to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, before the final mountain road to Les Arcs. In normal traffic the drive takes about 2 h 40 for roughly 174 km.
On winter Saturdays, when most chalets and apartments change guests, the roads around Lyon and towards the resorts can be busy, and snowfall slows traffic in the mountains. Your driver plans for this and keeps you informed. For your return flight we usually recommend leaving Les Arcs about 4 h 30 before departure on weekdays and about 5 h on winter Saturdays.
Choose Lyon Airport and Les Arcs, your date, time and number of passengers. You see the fixed price immediately and pay securely online — or choose to pay on board.

Private transfer. The fastest and most comfortable option: you leave as soon as you land, nobody else is in the vehicle, and you are dropped at your own door. For a family or a group of friends, the fixed price per vehicle often costs less per person than individual tickets.
Shared shuttle. Cheaper for one or two travellers, but you share the minibus with other passengers, may wait at the airport until the shuttle is full and stop at several addresses along the way.
Bus. Seasonal coaches link Lyon Airport with the main resorts, mostly on winter weekends. You then need a taxi or a walk with your luggage from the bus stop to your accommodation.
Train. There is no direct train from Lyon Airport to Les Arcs: you would travel with at least one change to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and continue by bus or taxi, which takes much longer than the road.
Rental car. Possible, but in winter you need winter tyres or chains, parking in Les Arcs is limited and often paid, and the car usually stays parked for most of your stay.

Up to 8 passengers with luggage and ski bags. Our standard vehicle for families and groups of friends — comfortable, spacious and equipped for winter roads.
Large groups travel in several vehicles leaving together. Contact us and we will organise the whole group transfer.
Les Arcs and La Plagne are connected by the Vanoise Express cable car, creating the Paradiski ski area with runs from village level up to the Aiguille Rouge at over 3,200 m. Arc 1800 is the largest village, Arc 1950 has a car-free centre, and Arc 2000 offers the highest slopes.
A funicular links Bourg-Saint-Maurice railway station to Arc 1600 in a few minutes, but with luggage and skis most guests prefer a direct transfer to the door of their apartment or chalet.
About 2 h 40 for roughly 174 km. On busy winter Saturdays or in heavy snowfall it can take longer.
From €244 one way per vehicle for up to 8 passengers. The exact fixed price for your date and time is shown before payment, with no hidden extras.
Per vehicle. The price is the same whether you travel alone or with 8 people, so a private transfer is often cheaper per person than a shared shuttle for families and groups.
In the arrivals hall, after baggage claim and customs. Your driver holds a sign with your name and helps you with your luggage to the vehicle.
Add your flight number when booking: we follow your flight and keep an eye on any delay. Up to 60 minutes of waiting after your booked pick-up time is included, plus 15 minutes of courtesy time. For longer delays we wait as long as our schedule allows, charged at €60 per hour; if the driver cannot stay, we contact you and arrange the best solution together.
